TRON Lightcyle/Run FINALLY has an opening date!

April 4, 2023 the attraction EVERYONE has been waiting for will finally open at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. In 2009 at the D23 Expo, Disney brought a Lightcycle and in 2010 TRON: Legacy released and now in 2023 WDW will open up the new attraction.

The story of TRON Lightcycle/Run will take place after TRON: Legacy where Kevins son, Sam Flynn, opened a second gateway into the digital realm called the Grid. The first of these portals he created was in Shanghai Disneyland, the original TRON Lightcycle Power Run. Entering the queue at the Magic Kingdom, you will be transported to the Grid for a special Lightcycle race. It’s your Team Blue against the Grid’s menacing Programs, Team Orange. The goal is to be first to race through eight Energy Gates and secure victory. This will be the fastest attraction at any Disney theme park in the world.

I am so EXCITED to head over to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom specifically for this ride. Ever since they have opened it up in Shanghai I have been dying to step into the Grid. What are your thoughts?
