Bodega Bay Weekend/The Birds

I am all for going on trips alone, but my cousins discovered that I had planned a weekend trip to Bodega Bay and hopped in my car to go with me. So my weekend with Belle turned into a weekend trip with cousins and puppies.

We all have watched the 1963 Alfred Hitchcock movie The Birds, which they filmed in Bodega Bay. Since we are here, we decided what better way to kick off the weekend than putting on the classic film. We are a little over the top, so we had to ensure everything was PERFECT! Which means we decorated the hotel room with party decorations.

Honestly, the second and third youngest of the family have not seen the movie because they have a different relationship with Nani 9my grandma and their great-grandma). The older grandchildren of the family grew up in the house with our grandma, and the great-grandchildren just visit. So we had to go big and all out for this movie for them.

We plan on reading some books, playing the switch (Mario Kart), and walking around looking at all the filming locations for the movie. I also love that I am here with my cousins; I am excited to see what this weekend holds for us on Bodega Bay.
