In the Soop: Friendcation 2023

The time has FINALLY come! The ghouls and I have had our first In the Soop: Friendcation getaway to Aptos. We were inspired by In the Soop: Friendcation on Disney+ with V and his friends. This trip we have been planning since the show came up, but it is HERE!

We drove to Aptos, which in itself was a lot of fun. The drive was alright; we blasted BTS and had snacks even though it was only an hour and thirty-minute drive, but it was part of the adventure. Although I don’t drink coffee, we did stop at Starbucks and pick up JK’s delicious drink. When we got there, we decorated the inside of the house and, of course, had the music playing. After everything was put away, we set up where to watch the August D concert. We purchased all three days because we love to support.

Suga D-Day Final was EMOTIONAL! On day one, we were surprised to see JK taking the stage with Suga to sing Burn It and, of course, his new single Seven, On day two, we had Jimin on stage to sing Tony Montana and Set Me Free; the final day, day three, we had RM sing Stranger and his unreleased/untitled new song. If you look closely at all the songs Suga sang with the members, you will see that it spells out BTS. Day one and day two were full of energy and power, but day three was full of EMOTION!! Not only did we get to see RM perform, but Jin and J-hope were in the crowd supporting Suga on his final day of the concert. Suga was so emotional that he was in tears and had trouble singing because of his emotion. It started with Dear My Friend, another new song. The tears streamed down his face, and his voice shook, but he made it through the concert.

Every single concert up until this last day, he would sing the last note and walk off stage without looking back, and that was the end. This day, however, the FINAL day, Yoongi stayed on stage and THANKED EVERYONE. He looked back! At the end of the walkway was a door, but not just any door. The door he couldn’t open in Amygdala. He opened it, walked through, and waved with an emotional smile before closing the door.

We were also lucky enough to see his tattoo! The one-awaited tattoo reveal was perfect. Check out the videos if you haven’t seen them yet. Through all the tears of this concert, I was happy to see him show all these emotions on stage. He is courageous and strong for doing so. Watching him walk through the door made me cry, but I was happy for him. He is such an amazing person and a fantastic storyteller. I applaud him for telling such a meaningful story to so many people. He did announce his enlistment, which means my friends and I will be reuniting to watch the video BigHit will release with Suga’s departure.
