It’s Movie Night!
One of my mom and I’s favorite movies is Some Kind of Wonderful. So we got in our Pj’s grabbed some blankets, snacks and of course our little snuggle bunny Belle.
Some Kind of Wonderful (1987)
Keith Nelson (Eric Stoltz), an artsy high school outcast, tries to land a date with popular girl Amanda Jones (Lea Thompson) with some help from his tomboy best friend, Watts (Mary Stuart Masterson). However, his advances draw the ire of Amanda’s snobby ex-boyfriend, Hardy Jenns (Craig Sheffer), who makes plans to get even. Matters are further complicated when Watts realizes she likes Keith as more than just a friend and tries to convince him to stop pursuing Amanda.
We have not watched this movie in a good minute and since she was having a stressful type of day, I thought putting on her favorite movie with her favorite (living) pup, and a couple of her favorite snacks was a perfect way to brighten up her spirits. I forgot how much I enjoyed this movie and I can see why it is one of her favorites.
