Love Yourself 2026: Day 16

I absolutely hate exercising, but I know it is good for me. Not only physically, but mentally as well.

Exercising:

Exercising triggers endorphins which means your mood will improve You will feel happier and relaxed. It also helps reduce anxiety and stress. It also helps improve sleep, boosts brain power, energy and social connection.

For me, my poison of choice is running. I doon’t like running at all but I ALWAYS feel so much better after. I don’t go far because I am lazy but the farthest I am willing to run is 3 miles but I usually do 1 -2 miles. I notice when I get up in the morning and go for a run, I am way more productive in the day and I can fall asleep a lot faster. As much as I dread putting on my shoes in the morning, I am able to function a lot better and feel a lot better about myself and have a way more positive outlook on the day than if I decided to sleep or lay around.

You have to find something that works for you and your schedule just like everything else. Do you and do what works for you. Don’t let anyone tell you that it is wrong, or not enough.
