Midsummer Scream is back for another year of frights! This Halloween Horror Convention will take place August 2 – 9, 2026 at the Long Beach Convention Center. See previews of upcoming Halloween events and attractions, panels, presentations and performances from leading horror performers and entertainment companies and explore over a dozen haunted attractions in the massive Hall of Shadows

Hall of Shadows

• A massive dark hall filled with over a dozen haunted attractions, produced by professional and home haunters from Southern California and beyond.

Showfloor

• A massive show floor that will host over 350+ vendors

The Screaming Room

• Midsummer Screame’s film festival features a curated slate of short films from around the world.

Black Cat Lounge

• Take a break from the con madness inside our room full of feline beeasties to pet, cuddle or adopt.

Paranormal Pixie’s Pumpkin Patch

• A gore -free and scare-free area or the littlest of monsters, with performances, book reading, activities and all sorts of spooky fun.

Live Immersive Entertainment

• Panels Presentation and aPerformances across 5 stages and multiple breakout rooms
