The 53rd Annual Safeway World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off!

Safeway World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-off will take place October 12, 2026 from 7 am to 2 p, Main Street, Half moon Bay, Ca.

Half Moon Bay serves as an officially sanctioned Great Pumpkin Commonwealth (CPG) site. It all began in 1974 as a fun, light-hearted contest between Circleville, Ohio and Half Moon Bay, California. Honeslty, this is something you don’t want to miss. These are some Godzilla Gourds! If you can’t make it you can follow the weigh-off live stream on facebook.
