Blogtober 2026: Day 22

Pumpkin Pupcakes!

Who doesn’t like a spooky pupcake? I found this delicious puppy recipe that the pups have went crazy for on peel with zeal. The pups loved the frosting but devoured the entire thing.

Ingredients:

  • 1 C flour
  • 1/2 Tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 C pumpkin puree (not pumpkin filling)
  • 1/2 C peanut butter (all natural, no sugar added)
  • 1 Egg (beaten)
  • 1/8 cup vegetable oil

Frosting

  • 1/2 C plain greek yogurt
  • 1/4 C Peanut butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350º and line a cupcake tray with cupcake liners and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add baking soda, pumpkin puree , peanut butter, egg and vegetable oil.
  3. Fill each cupcake liner about halfway full. Place in the oven and bake for 25 minutes or until done.

Frosting:

  1. Mix yogurt and peanut butter until well combined.
  2. Once cupcakes have cooled pipe on the frosting.

These will stay good up to 4 to 5 days if placed in an airtight container in the refrigerator. I like to add a spooky pupperoni ghost on the top for extra spookiness. We do hand these out to all our fellow pup neighbors, cousins and friends.

Happy Howling!
