Blogtober 2019: Day 6

Oogie Boogie Bash Review

WOW! Tonight was the night I attended Disney California Adventure’s Oogie Boogie Bash, and I have to say I was blown away by everything this party had to offer. The treat trails this year were terrific they had, Dr. Facilier, The Evil Queen, Maleficent, The Mad Hatter, and the one and only Oogie Boogie himself. Since they are a treat trail, the villains are on a stage, so it is hard to get a photo with them, but they are very interactive and bone-chilling.

The DescenDANCE party is adorable, although I find it more of a show, even though they do teach you some dance moves. At the beginning of the show, they do a small tribute to Cameron Boyce which I think was sweet but also tugs on your heartstrings just a little.

The Villains Grove was the highlight of my night, hands down. It felt as if you were in a magical forbidden forest. I felt so immersed and in a completely different world. Honestly, I hope they bring this back because I would love to experience this once again.

Overall I wish I would have bought another Oogie Boogie Bash ticket for another weekend because I had so much fun and didn’t want this night to end. Next year I will have to purchase two nights because one night was not enough. I hope Disneyland will get a pass for their Halloween party like Walt Disney World did with Mickey’s Not So Scary because I would 100% purchase one.
