We missed Thanksgiving!

This Thanksgiving, I was on the road to Anaheim for my baby cousin’s 6th birthday. My family and I left at 2 am and unfortunately ran into a lot of obstacles. Initially, we were supposed to arrive at 8 am but got a rude awakening when the grapevine was closed due to snow. Long story short, we couldn’t find a way around and ended up being in the car for 16 hours. We missed my cousin’s birthday at the Great Wolf Lodge, missed Thanksgiving dinner at Goofy’s Kitchen with the family, and ended up being way too tired to find anything to eat and went straight to bed. It was a hard Thanksgiving, and I was bummed we missed all the festivities, but I was very thankful that we made it safely to our destination.
