DIY Who Hash

  • Tater tots
  • 2c of your choice of meat (I use steak)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp concentrated beef stock
  • 1/4 of an onion, minced


  • Cook your tater tots
  • Melt your butter in a frying pan
  • Add in your choice of diced meat and onion in the pan
  • Stir in your concentrated beef stock for added flavor and moisture
  • Add some salt and pepper
  • Enjoy!

Universal Studios uses tater tots for the Who Hash, which is why I use it but also because I love tater tots. I also substitute the corned beef with steak and honey baked ham because I don’t like corn beef. The honey baked ham gives the Who hash a sweeter taste, but I do suggest dropping the concentrated beef and use the juices of the ham when you fry it.
