Cookie Day with Grandma

It is a tradition in our family to make cookies with grandma for Thanksgiving. Making cookies is always exciting because the younger ones get to learn how to do cookies, and each year they get to do a little more than last.

The cookies we are making:

• Chocolate chip
• Peanut butter
• Peanut butter and a Hershey’s kiss
• Oatmeal
• Oatmeal raisin
• Uncles John’s Favorite

My grandma has a total of 20 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. So the older ones will pick a cookie out of the hat, and the younger ones will go to whatever cookie they want to make. Our grandma goes around supervising her crazy family. We like to start a flour fight at one point, making excellent Holiday cards for everyone. Overall we spend time together and enjoy one another companies while making memories that will last.
