Knott’s Berry Farm: Did You Know #1

Cable Cars

Did you know in March of 1955, Knott’s Berry Farm brought four historic San Francisco Cable Cars to the Park. In their first year of operation, the cars hauled more than 450,000 passengers as a parking lot shuttle . After 25 years of transporting Knott’s shut down the trams and the cable cars were returned to the City of San Francisco and one of them went to the Empire Orange Railway Museum in Southern California.
