Halloween Time At The Disneyland Resort 2022

The spooky season is coming back to the Disneyland Resort in California. From Sept. 2 to Oct. 31, 2022, the villains will cast a spell over the resort. It will feature spooky decor, Halloween-themed attractions, photo opportunities with the Disney Characters, and the villains themselves. It wouldn’t be a dreadful time if they didn’t offer special treats, drinks and more!

Disneyland:

The vibrant decor will transform Main Street U.S.A and Pumpkins everywhere, including the fan favorite Winky Blinky, the GIANT Mickey Mouse pumpkin that sits on Main Street.

The pumpkin king Jack is taking over the Haunted Mansion as Haunted Mansion Holiday makes it’s return once again. Of course the Mansion wouldn’t be complete without the annual gingerbread house on the ballroom table.

Halloween Screams will also light up the night sky and project on Main Street and It’s A Small World and Sleeping Beauty Castel starting Sept. 2 through Oct. 31, 2022.

Disney California Adventure:

Oggie Boogie will loom over the entrance of DCA, listen carefully you may hear the boogie man talk.

Cars Land is going to get a spooktacular makeover. Radiator Springs Racers will transform into Radiator Screams. While the resident car-actors will transform their homes with a Haul-o-ween twist. Lightning, Mater, Cruz, and Red will put on their wickedly best car-stumes as they greet guests.

Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree will become Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree with a spooky soundtrack. Luigis Rollinckin’ Roadsters will also transform and become Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-o-ween.

Over at Avnegers Campus Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout! (GOTG) will transform at night to GOTG-Monsters After Dark it will feature a spooky adventure with creepy creatures and frightful falls.

Buena Vista Street will also join the fun as Carthay Circles bring their swarm of bats, green energy pulses, and projections on the tower. Of course, it would NOT be a spooky season without a 10ft tall statue of the one and only Headless Horseman holding his jack-o-lantern head to the sky. Be sure to stop by and say hi BUT hold on to your head.

Starting Sept. 2 through Nov. 2, 2022, Dia de Los Muertos will transform Paradise Gardens. There will be live entertainment, festive foods, crafts, and much more. Without “A Musical Celebration of Coco,” it wouldn’t be a celebration, a street performance honoring Disney and Pixar “Coco.” Also returning are the iconic Arbol de la Vida (Tree of Life) photo locations and memory wall.

I am so excited for the spooky season. I can’t wait to eat the specialty foods and drinks and enjoy all the spooky sights! What are you most looking forward to seeing?
