Halloween Horror Nights 2022 Review

HHN never seems to fail me. The cousins and I enjoyed ourselves once again. We laughed, we cried, and we cried because we laughed so hard. We voted this year for our top three houses, and the ones that we all agreed on were: Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Scarecrow the Reaping, and last but certainly NOT least, La Lollorna.

As kids, we grew up on Killer Klowns from Outer Space, and it’s one movie we can ALWAYS agree to watch each Halloween season. A fun fact is our Nani (Grandma) not only loved to make us watch scary movies, but she would also tell us scary stories, one of them being La Llorona or the Woman in White. So this house was very nostalgic for us, and we LOVED it. Scarecrow the Reaping was our favorite because one of my cousins got so scared that she fell backward, taking down another cousin, and they both fell to the floor. We all died of laughter because of the slight hold-up. Plus, getting “pooped” in the house was another great moment because the youngest cousin there freaked out, thinking she got pooped on and freaked out. It was hilarious—all in all, that was the most memorable house and the house that scared us.

Of course, like every year, we hope to get out to HHN Orlando together. In case you didn’t know, we are all procrastinators, and by the time we start talking about our Halloween plans, we have waited too long, and flights and hotels are ridiculously high. Thankfully we love HHN Hollywood, so we don’t mind just flying an hour away, BUT we would like a cousin vacation out in Florida.
