Nighttime Drive

One of my favorite memories with my mom and my grandma is going for a drive around the city looking at all the Christmas lights while listening to the Christmas classics. We drink tea because my grandma prefers it over hot chocolate BUT we always carry whipped cream because we are bad influences and eat whipped cream out of the can. I enjoy these special moments with them and I hope that we can continue to do them every year together.

When we first started this tradition, we would walk around everywhere to see all the houses, but as my grandma got older we would drive and walk, and now we just drive. I still enjoy it though and I love the memories we are still able to make together. Plus, I love that we have a heater in the car and I am not freezing my butt off in the night.
