It is OFFICIAL!! The runDisney Half Marathon Weekend is returning to Disneyland!
runDisney mad the announcement earlier today that Disneyland is bringing back Half Marathon Weekend, both in the park and virtual. Of course participants will be able to choose between a 5k, 10k, Half and Challenge. Half Marathon Weekend will take place January 11-14, 2024.

Of course runDisney couldn’t bring back the races without bringing back Coast to Coast Challenge. I have personally participated in this challenge multiple times and I LOVE it. If you have the time and the money I would recommend participating in at least one.
Coast to Coast/Castle to Chateau:
Blue C2C-
For the blue C2C medal you just have to complete any half at Disneyland and any half in WDW in the same calendar year.
Pink C2C-
To get the pink C2C medal you will have to complete in the Tinker Bell Half Marathon at Disneyland and the Princess Half Marathon in WDW in the same calendar year,
Kessel Run-
You have to complete the Star Wars Half Marathon and the Star Wars half in WDW in the same calendar year to get your own Millennium Falcon medal.
Castle to Chateau-
This one is pretty cool, because you have to complete a half marathon in Disneyland or WDW and complete the Disneyland Paris Half marathon in the same calendar year for this challenge. I personally did not enjoy the course for this one but it could have changed but the Castle to Chateau medal is 100% worth it! It is one of my all time favorite medals and my first international Disney Park. If you can I would recommend this one.
It has been five long years and I am honestly so excited dust off my running shoes and get back out on the course. Hopefully, I can convince my Grandma to come along for the ride so she can watch my pup while I run. Are you excited for the return of runDisney in Anaheim?
