Monsta X is a South Korean boy group formed through the reality survival show No Mercy.
They made their debut in 2015 with seven members: Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, I.M., and Wonho.

Joined Monsta X in 2015 and left in 2019 due to rumors. He made his solo debut September 4, 2020 with his first EP Love Synonym Pt. 1: Right For Me.

Leaving six members to Monsta X. Although I.M. did not resign from Starship Entertainment, he will participate in future group activities. Monsta X refers to their fans as monbebe. A combination of two words, “mon” and “bebe.” The word “mon” means ‘my’ and “bebe” means baby. Both words are French and are equivalent to ‘my baby,’ ‘my darling,’ ‘my lover,’ and ‘my soulmate.’
