Harry Potter is becoming a TV Series?

HBOMax and the Wizarding World announced a new Harry Potter Series, where each season covers one of the books. HBOMax is calling it “a faithful new adaption of the iconic books.” The upcoming show will feature a new cast to lead a new generation of fandom, and will be filled with magical detail and loved characters. They are planning on releasing the series on HBOMax in the United States and around the world, but as of now there are no dates as to when it will be released.

I know this is getting A LOT of different reactions – some excited for this level of detail and others wanting a new story like the Marauders. What are your thoughts?
