The time has come.

The Disneyland Splash Mountain has it’s closing date, May 31, 2023. Although, it is a sad time to say goodbye to our furry friends there is a new adventure ready to spark. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open in 2024. I am sad to see Splash Mountain go because of all the memories I have with this attraction, I am excited to see what new adventures Tiana will bring and new memories I will make.

What we can expect from the updated attraction:

• Brand-new cast of original Disney characters with distinct names and personalities
• Dozens of entirely new Audio-Animatronic figures
• Adorable critters with incredible talent, bringing diverse flavors of musical gumbo found in New Orleans
• New, original music alongside favorite songs from the film
• There will be an alluring scent of beignets being prepared for the party as part of the attractions queue
• Additional talents reprising their roles from the film such as: Bruno Campos as Prince Naveen, Michael Leon Wooley as Louis and the only and only most FANASTIC Anika Noni Rose as Princess Tiana
• Keep a look out for familiar faces like: Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen, Mama Odie, Louis, Eudora, Charlotte, “Big Daddy,” the king and Queen of Maldonia and Prince Ralphie

I am so excited that I will be able to ride this attraction one last time before it leaves and I will be impatiently waiting to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
