Amigurumi Turkey!
We will be making some adorable little turkeys. I think they are pretty simple but mine always turn out a bit different each time I make them. Let’s get started!

- MR – Magic Ring

- FLO – Front Loop Only

- Hdc – Half Double Crochet

Make sure to leave extra yarn to sew the parts to the body.
Body – Brown Yarn
- MR – Sc 6 (6)
- Inc all around (12)
- Inc, Sc, all around (18)
- Inc, Sc 2 all around (24)

- Sc in the next 15, Sc in the st and add a stitch marker to the Sc just made. (this will indicate the eyes)

Finish off and add any additional stuffing. Sew close.
Beak – Yellow Yarn
- MR – Sc 6 (6)

Finish off and pin to the head in between the eyes.
Wattle – Red yarn
- Ch 6. Sc 3 times in the 2nd Ch from the hook. Sc in the next 2 st, SlSt in last 2 St (7)
Finish off and pin to the head next to the beak.
Wings – Brown Yarn (2x)
- MR – Sc 6 (6)
- Sc all around (6)
- Inc, Sc all around (9)
- Sc all around (9)
- Inc, Sc 2 all around (12)
- Sc all around (12)
Finish off and pin to the sides of his body right under his head.
Feathers – Yellow, Red, Orange Yarn (5x)
2 in Red, 2 in Yellow, 1 in Orange
- Ch 17.
- Sc in 2nd Ch from hook.
- Sc in the next St
- Hdc in next 3 St.
- Dc in next 4 st
- Trc in next 6 st
- Trc 4 times in next st
- now you should be on the other side of the Ch
- Trc in the next 6 st
- Dc in next 4 st
- Hdc in the next 3 st
- Sc in the next 2 st.
Finish off and leaving some extra yarn to sew
Tail – Brown
- Ch. 7
- Dc 3 times in 2nd Ch from hook
- SlSt in next St
- Dc 3 times in next St
- SlSt in next St 2 times
Finish off and pin and pin on the bottom of all the feathers
Feet – Yellow (2x)
- MR – Sc 6 (6)
- SlSt in the next 2 St
- Dc 2 times in same St
- Slst in same St 3 times
- SlSt in last St
Finish off and pin in place in the front of the body. I like to place mine, In between the eyes and wings.
Sewing!
- Sew all the parts to the body.
I hope you had as much fun as I did making these cute little Turkey’s. I think they are so adorable and if you wanted to, you can even make them into a keychain by adding a jump ring and a clip.
