Christmas Cookie Tradition
There is nothing like the smell of refreshed baked Christmas Cookies. As a family, we would gather at Grandma’s house, put on Christmas music, and make a ton of cookies.
- Chocolate chip cookies
- Oatmeal raisin
- Peanut butter
- Uncle John’s Favorite (We don’t know the name of the actual cookies, but they are our uncles favorite so we named them after him)
- Sugar Cookies
- Gingerbread cookies
We are lucky to have so many generations under one roof with Grandma. So, we like to make it memorable, and all day we listen to good music and bake. The house smells fantastic, but the most exciting part is the memories we make together singing Christmas songs, eating delicious cookies, and of course, starting the flour fight. This year, we are picking our favorite cookie to make on a zoom call. It won’t be the same, but it will still be fun. Do you have family traditions?
