I’m Home!

I am speechless. It has been over a year since I have been on Disneyland property (actual Disneyland Park property). Walking through those gates, I was filled with emotion. I have been lucky enough to have visited Disneyland Resort every year since I was born. When I was a freshman in High School, I bought my mom and me our first Disneyland Annual Pass, and we have been AP holders ever since and were fortunate enough to visit the park at least once a month. I knew at the point how lucky I was to get the opportunity to visit this magical place as often as we were, and I can say I took it for granted. Not being able to visit the park for a whole year didn’t bother me because I knew the situation. Walking through those gates and seeing my second home for the first time in over a year was a lot more emotional than what I thought or anticipated. Seeing the streets and places I know so well, I couldn’t help but tear up. Although I thought I would want to get on a ride or eat something Disneyland has to offer, I took my time taking in the sights, smells, and sounds of the park. My mom and I walked around the park for three hours just taking in all the magic, thanking all the outstanding cast members who were working, and I wouldn’t have changed anything about that day.

Were you able to reserve a day in the park?
